We have been using splash math a few months now and my 8 year old loves it! She can practice math like addition and subtraction without getting frustrated and we can review at home or on the road. I also appreciate it is available on all my apple devices so she doesnt lose her progress. She like to work towards completing certain sections because it shows her progress. The app is very encouraging too which for a child that struggles with math is really helpful. The only improvement I could suggest is that the app read out the number name when it is touched. For instance, if the answer to a question is 8, when 8 is selected it would say 8.

I am a teacher as well as a parent. My son uses this at home and my students use it at school for skill review. It is aligned with common core standards. The kids are able to manipulate the screen to figure out the answers. I am very pleased with this app.

Do not buy! Unless you subscribe to the monthly program they can only answer 10 questions a day. Not worth 5.99

10 questions per day or else you have to buy a subscription. Uhhh. No thanks.

I homeschool my two daughters (ages 9 & 7), and we bought the Splash Math levels 1st grade and 4th grade to practice daily. Sometimes they use the timed math fact practice feature and sometimes they work through the lessons. It is definitely supplemental as it doesnt have a teaching component. But I like that it is aligned with what they are already learning in our math program. My favorite part is the weekly email about my students usage. Its a great tool to check on their progress.
